Want to work on something together?

Hi, I’m Megan.

I’m a freelance graphic designer and illustrator currently located in the Bay Area. The PNW will always be home for me but I have enjoyed living in some pretty fun places over the past decade with my growing family (Southern California, New York, the Puget Sound, Northeast England, to name a few). My experiences in these beautiful corners of the world have helped shape who I am as a person and designer.

I love mid-century furniture, coffee, rain, podcasts, bright colors, running, home decorating, house plants, and hanging out with my 3 little ones.

Art + design have had a hold on my heart from early childhood. I studied visual communication design and studio art at Eastern Washington University and since then have gained experience working in an agency setting followed by many years as an in-house designer, and have finally found my love for freelance. I love the freedom and variety that taking on individual projects gives me and the ability to start fresh with new clients, styles, and goals.

I have an urge to put beautiful things out into the world and I find great joy in creating in the margins of motherhood. My role as a mom has inspired my craft in many ways—slowing down and noticing the small joys in life, teaching and experiencing meaningful life lessons and values, reading beautiful children’s books, and the rediscovering the magic of play and imagination have enriched my work and life. I enjoy the problem-solving that design brings and the playfulness of illustration. I usually have a side project or two (or three) in the works.

My work Spotify playlist is usually comprised of investigative journalism podcasts, Sufjan Stevens, the Beatles, Fleet Foxes, or some other soft folk/rock.
